Inspire

Know more about me by knowing what inspires me to find my voice and gain confidence in myself:

Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young by Mary Schmich

Wear Sunscreen, directed by Baz Luhrmann, voiced by Lee Perry – The words are based off of Mary Schmich’s column above. I listen to this to pick up my mood. It works every time.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky – My friend recommended me this book. This is the first book I felt depicted how accurately I feel and think about my existence and my relationship with people.

Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse – Best translator for this story: Susan Bernofsky.

Ideas into Words by Elise Hancock – Eloquent and delightful read. Elise Hancock is a wonderful writer. She is a life cheerleader for igniting her reader’s curiosity for life and encouraging her reader to revise and revise writings for clarity.

Susan Cain: The Power of Introverts – Ms. Cain adopts the yearlong project of the year of speaking dangerously.
